Have you ever wondered what life was like if you were a cook, a maid, or a footman working at a great house like Hearthstone? Wonder no more.

Peek in to the lives of the young women and men who lived and labored at Hearthstone for the Rogers family by visiting with them as they go about their day during this limited-time, historical reenactment tour.

This experiential tour of Hearthstone is like no other as our guests will “play a role” themselves: They will be assumed to be possible new employees who are being escorted through the residence by the housekeeper. As “new hires,” our guests will be asked to join in on some of the duties as the servants go about their jobs. Guests will also “overhear” the servants, played by age-appropriate reenactors, as they talk gossip about the Rogers family. They will also share the hardships that they face. These include important topics that are still with us today - Low wages, long hours, gender and ethnic discrimination, and sexual harassment.
