"Ending Anonymity:  Is this Kitty?  Applying Artificial Intelligence to Historical Identification of Women"

As part of its support for Women’s History Month, Hearthstone will be hosting a series of four presentations made by the museum’s volunteers and staff. The series will be held on the first four Tuesdays of the month starting at 6:00 pm in Hearthstone’s Parlor.

Ending Anonymity:  Is this Kitty?  Applying Artificial Intelligence to Historical Identification of Women is authored by Executive Director George Schroeder. Through the use of a variety of historic as well as modern photographs, the presentation will judge whether modern facial recognition software can be used to identify the subjects of historic photos, in particular women, who are often unidentified.
