"Appleton’s Own: Edna Ferber"

As part of its support for Women’s History Month, Hearthstone will be hosting a series of four presentations made by the museum’s volunteers and staff. The series will be held on the first four Tuesdays of the month starting at 6:00 pm in Hearthstone’s Parlor.

This evening’s presentation is:

Appleton’s Own: Edna Ferber by volunteer Christine Williams. Ms. Williams will explore Edna Ferber, one of America’s most successful writers in the first half of the 20th century. Ms. Ferber was a feminist, a crusader for minorities and immigrants, and a staunch believer in the work ethic and American culture.
