The Wisconsin Historical Society presented Hearthstone Historic House Museum with its Board of Curators’ Exhibit Award for 2020 for its exhibit entitled Kitty’s Wedding: You’re Invited - the 130th Anniversary of Kitty Rogers’ Wedding. The award recognizes the exhibit as the best exhibit in the State.

Truly immersive in nature, the exhibit, which ran from September 1 to September 20, 2019, recreated the wedding reception of Kitty Rogers which was held at Hearthstone on September 4, 1889. The grandeur of the lavish surroundings are revisited in an on-line retrospective that captures the essence of this marvelous exhibit.
